The Think The Game Basketball Camp:
The Think The Game basketball camp helps athletes become play makers, become a consistent threat to score with or without the ball. This basketball camp focuses on making the right reads, knowing when to pull up, attack the rim, change direction, or penetrate and pitch as well as how to get to the free throw line more time per game. Players will also learn how to beat pressure defense and so much more.
Age Requirements: Essentials and Think the Game basketball camps are open to high school and college players. Mature incoming high school freshmen are allowed however there are no exceptions for younger players. Younger players are invited to attend PGC Prep School courses, which are open to players completing 7th to 10th grade.
The Point Guard College curriculum features courses designed to teach basketball players how to train effectively, play smarter basketball, become coaches on the court, and demonstrate leadership during games, practices, and in everyday life.
Players who attend Point Guard College basketball camps return with an enhanced understanding of how to think and play the game, an increased sense of confidence, a renewed enjoyment of the game, tools for training in the off season, and a notebook full of strategies for on and off the court success.
The Point Guard College offers three unique basketball camps featuring a curriculum designed to teach youth basketball players how to play smarter, train more effectively, and become leaders on the court. Participants receive a university-style basketball educational experience, including:
Classroom Learning Sessions 2 to 3 times each day athletes are expected to listen attentively, take notes and ask questions.
Video Analysis sessions where athletes study actual game footage to see examples covering every aspect of the game.
Court Time Designed To Reinforce Good Habits; every moment of court time is carefully planned to maximize the learning experience.
Training in Leadership and Communication Skills helps athletes influence their teammates to work harder, work together, overcome adversity.
