Two Baseball Camps in Idaho

Baseball camps come in many types and are held all over the world for young athletes and serious high school players who are looking for recruitment opportunities. While there are many baseball camps, they won’t all offer everything that you are looking for in a baseball camp. It’s important to read the material provided by the camp to make sure that the camp will offer the instruction, experience, and opportunities that you are looking for.

If you are interested in recruiting, for example, a national camp that focuses on player evaluation and scouting by college and pro recruiters is a good place to start your search. DeMarini Top 96 is one of the most famous and successful national baseball camps in the country. They host events all over the US, including in Idaho. These camps are two day clinics with day one focusing on instruction and day two spent playing games. Players are given a written evaluation of their skills which the coaches will go over personally with each player.

For a local option that is focused on quality instruction, Jim Walker’s Baseball Camp is another choice. This camp is taught by current and former players and coaches and spends time working on all aspects of baseball, including pitching, catching, base running, fielding, and batting. This camp has been in business for almost 25 years and many players have returned year after year to continue their instruction at this camp.

Baseball Camps Outside of Idaho

Sometimes, players find that the camps available in their state aren’t offering exactly what it is they are looking for. Out-of-state camps are a great choice for players who can travel over the summer or winter holidays. If you are feeling particularly adventurous, there are even camp opportunities in other countries that offer quality instruction both on and off the field. Some international camps even teach language and culture to their international students, making this a great opportunity for high school athletes who are interested in broadening their skills and their experience.
