Find Sports Camps That Offer Discounted Tuition
Sports Camps are a good way to increase your skills and your visibility to college and pro scouts and recruiters. You’ll want to find a camp that fits your needs, both in the training that they offer and the recruiting opportunities they’ll have available.
Before you select a camp, figure out what it is you want to get from the experience. There are camps that offer general training, position-specific training, and recruiting information and opportunities. If you are looking for a camp that will increase your visibility, make sure the camps you are looking at mention recruiting specifically in their material. You’ll also want to check to see which coaches and scouts are scheduled to appear at that camp. If there won’t be any recruiters from the schools or organizations you want to play for, look for another camp opportunity.
Once you’ve figured out where you want to go to camp, make sure you check to see if the camp offers any discounts or scholarships. Several of the major national camps offer scholarships, either need- or merit-based. Many camps also offer discounts for things like registering multiple campers at the same time, either siblings or teammates, as well as discounts for other things like employee discounts or early registration discounts. Make sure you look for these discounts before registering, as most camps won’t retroactively reduce the fees once you’ve already signed up.
