Top Little League Baseball Camps for School Kids

Little League is hosting camps in three cities this year. Each little league baseball camp offers five sessions, and all camps are overnight, weeklong camps with meals provided. The details are slightly different for each location, though, so check to make sure the camp you are looking at is the right one for your child.

The Little League Baseball Camp in Williamsport, PA is open to boys and girls age 10 to 14. For one week, your child will get the chance to learn about and practice baseball, as well as participate in a number of camp activities, like swimming and movie-watching. Baseball instruction and practice will happen every morning and every afternoon, campers will participate in games.

At the Bristol, CT camp, young baseball players will practice and play baseball every day for a week. Practices focus on improving fielding and batting skills and kids are encouraged to try different positions, both in practice and in the daily camp games. Campers will also get to play ping pong, basketball, and volleyball, and swim, as well as spend time with their new friends. This camp is open to boys and girls age 10 to 12.

For kids 9-12 years old, the Green Acres camp in Hillsgrove, PA is a well-rounded camp experience that includes several fun activities in addition to baseball practice and games. This camp is ideal for younger kids who need more instruction and older kids who want to challenge themselves.

Campers interested in any of little league baseball camps in Florida 2017 can apply for the Robert H. Stirrat Baseball Camp Scholarship, with an essay of 100 words explaining the benefits of Little League or the child’s general impressions of it. This scholarship covers tuition and traveling expenses to the camp of your choice.
