About AIB College of Business
The AIB College of Business is a non-profit, independent educational institution that is located in Des Moines, Iowa. They offer several associate degree programs and bachelors degree programs to their students. They are noted for having a flexible learning program as they offer day and night classes and have an online learning facility. Currently, the school population is at 1,000 and they maintain a good student-faculty ratio which ensures that each of their learner is well supported.
Athletics Department of AIB College of Business
The athletics department of the AIB College of Business is dedicated to helping their varsity team members achieve their goals in and out of the field of play. They strive hard to ensure that each of their student athletes receives the assistance they need in training and in academics. They believe that through participation in sports, their learners will be able to acquire positive traits that will ignite their passion in becoming the best in athletics, in academics and in life.
The college features state of the art athletic facilities which includes a gymnasium, a track, a basketball court, weight and training rooms and many more.
Athletic Programs of AIB College of Business
The sponsored athletic programs of the AIB College of Business include: men’s soccer, men’s basketball, men’s golf, baseball, men’s bowling, women’s volleyball, women’s basketball, women’s softball, women’s bowling, women’s golf, women’s competitive dance and women’s soccer. In addition to these, the college also offers co-ed sports like cheerleading and pep band.
The college also offers sports events in the intramural level. Currently they have flag football, towel hockey, volleyball, sand volleyball, ultimate Frisbee, bowling, and many more. These allow the rest of the student population to showcase their talents in sports and enjoy their college life.
Official Sports Team: Eagles
The sports team of the AIB College of Business are known as the Eagles. They are a member of the MCC (Midwest Collegiate Conference) and competes in the NAIA. Their Basketball Team made college history in 2010 when they defeated one of the higher ranked team and took home the championship title. To date, the Eagles continue to work hard and show their potential in sports.

The AIB College of Business offers many scholarship opportunities to their talented students. These are: Legacy Scholarship, Business Association Scholarship, Monroe Colston Diversity Scholarship, Career Advancement Scholarship, Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship, Eagles Scholarship, Nontraditional Scholarship, Honors Scholarship, AIB Scholarship, Founder’s Scholarship and many more. Students need to meet the requirements of each of these programs in order for them to be awarded with a monetary support that will help them settle their college fees. Each of these are renewable and is subject to the school’s review.
