Camp Description
At Aurelius Training, we understand that being an athlete take year round dedication and commitment. For middle and high school athletes who are serious about their sport, training never ends.
Our speed and agility camp strives to teach the fundamentals of proper sprinting, strength building and agility techniques that young athletes can use across multiple sports such as Lacrosse, Football, Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, volleyball and more.
Through our expert coaching, athletes will learn to elevate their on-field performance with more speed, quickness, strength and confidence. Our system is designed for both male and female athletes ages 12-18.
We combine Speed, Flexibility, Agility and Strength Training together to accelerate athletic development and performance. We use a variety of tactics and equipment to execute our training philosophy including Agility Ladders, Speed Parachutes, and Plyometrics.
Our program delivers real results and is a great stepping stone towards athletic development.
Day 1: Athletic Testing and Performance Development
Every athlete begins our program with a mandatory athletic evaluation that tests their Strength, Explosiveness, Speed and Agility (the SESA evaluation). The SESA evaluation is a measurability tool that allows one to self-test and record their progress on their own. This evaluation assesses the an athlete's current ability level. The SESA also allows our coaches to analyze each athlete's weaknesses and strengths. By understanding the athlete's skill level we can help engrain efficient movement patterns through various methods and technique drills.

- 20 yard dash
- Shuttle Run
- Broad Jump
- 1-minute Push Up Test
Day 2: Injury Preventation and Our Workout Blueprint
Preventing injuries is how an athlete can stay on the field of play. Our dynamic stretching movements are designed to improve mobility and flexibility which will aid in muscle recovery from tough workouts, practices and games. By teaching our campers how to maintain their bodies, they will be able to recover and play through nagging aches and pains.
At the end of the two day camp, athletes are given a personalized workout plan. This plan is their summer blueprint to improved speed, strength, explosiveness, athletic performance, and injury prevention. We will extensively review the plan as well as teach the young athletes how it is implemented. Over the course of the summer the camper may check their progress by self-testing the SESA evaluation.
