Basketball Camps in Tennessee for All Ages
Young athletes have plenty of choices if they’re looking for basketball camps in Tennessee. At Vanderbilt University, there are camps for both boys and girls, including options for the youngest players. Boys entering kindergarten through grade 3 and girls entering K through 2 can attend half-day camps where the emphasis is on putting the fun in fundamentals.
Girls in high school varsity, JV, middle school or AAU teams can strengthen their skills at a Team Challenge camp. Girls in grades 2 to 12, including graduating seniors, can attend an Offensive Improvement camp, which offers
lectures, stations, and contests to improve each player’s offensive game. Girls will play in one-on-one, three-on-three, and five-on-five situations. Girls in grades 8 through 12 can take part in a two-day Elite camp, where they can work intensively on their shooting, passing, ball handling, screening, and cutting. The focus is on developing advanced skills, so the pace is fast and the atmosphere very competitive.
