With an emphasis on developing three key inner skills—confidence, concentration and relaxation—the Yes I Can camps have helped countless players meet their highest potential. These camps are open to boys and girls entering grades 6 through 12, in either overnight or commuter formats. There will be a camper to coach ratio of nine to one, and an athletic trainer on staff.

A typical day at the Yes I Can overnight basketball camp in West Virginia includes a range of activities, both physical and mental. The day begins with motivational instruction on “Cybernetics, the Inner Game,†followed by a skill shooting clinic, with speed, agility and shooting drills. Team practice and games fill out the morning. After lunch, there’s a free throw shooting clinic, followed by instruction on the Cybernetic approach to defensive play. Then there’s time for four on four and one on one tournaments, followed by free time until dinner. The gym remains open during free time so that individuals can continue to work on their skills if they wish.
After dinner, there will be instruction and drills in techniques to develop relaxation and concentration skills, followed by league games. Instruction on the mental game, including goal setting and visualization, precedes and evening’s recreation, including swimming and ice cream or pizza parties.
