Summer Basketball Camps in Wyoming
Young athletes can improve their skills and have a great time at basketball camps in Wyoming, held on the University of Wyoming campus in Laramie. There are a great many options for both boys and girls in individual and team camps. Players can attend as overnighters, commuters with meals, or commuters without a meal plan. There are also some camps offered in Cody and Gillette.
The Little Shooters camp is for boys entering kindergarten through sixth grade, and includes lots of contests along with shooting drills. Boys entering 7th through 12th grade can attend the Cowboy Shooting Camp, where they’ll learn fundamentals of shooting from the Cowboy coaching staff and current players. Boys eight years old and up can attend the Cowboy Instructional Camp, which offers three days of intense training in fundamental skills, such as shooting, passing, ball handling, rebounding, individual offense and defense, team concepts and much more, plus 5 on 5, 3 on 3 and 1 on 1 games. There will also be a Father/Son camp for boys entering 3rd through 12th grade.
Cowgirls Basketball Camps in Wyoming
Cowgirls basketball camps in Wyoming include an individual camp for girls entering grades 5 through 10, an Elite camp for girls entering at least the 10th grade, and team camps for high school varsity and JV players.
The Elite camp is limited to 64 players, providing a coach/player ratio of 8 to 1. Players will be coached by Head Cowgirl Coach Joe Legerski, his staff and current players, and will give campers a great chance for a Division I experience. The Individual camp provides a great combination of fundamental skill development and individual competitions, as well as team games. With a camper to coach ratio of 10 to 1, campers will get plenty of individual attention from Coach Legerski and his staff. Both girls’ camps are available as overnight camps or commuter camps; commuters can choose a meal option.
