Football Camps in North Dakota: Knowing Your Options
You’ve probably heard of Offense-Defense, Sports International and Nike Football camps. These are three of the biggest national organizations for football camps in the country. Due to their size and scope, they attract players from around the country and thus, can attract top-level coaches and pro players to teach at their camps. They also offer exposure to college recruiters, which makes them very popular with athletes who want to play at the college level.
This doesn’t mean that you should focus exclusively on national camps, though, when looking for a place to train this summer. There are also university camps that offer great instruction, and, if you want to attend that school, can give you good access to the coaching staff for a chance to make yourself known to them. University camps at top schools attract players from all over, not just those from the state, so you’ll get an experience at an overnight university camp comparable to a national camp.
Local camps are another option that shouldn’t be discounted out-of-hand. While some local camps are much smaller in scope and in options, some are of the same size and caliber as national or university camps and also attract a lot of out-of-state interest.
