Play With the Packers at Football Camps in Wisconsin
If you have a young athlete who’d like to play with the Green Bay Packers, that’s a dream that can come true. At communities throughout the state, the Packers Youth Camps offer two divisions for campers aged 6 to 14. Each camp runs for five days, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. There is also an extended supervision option for those who might not be able to meet that schedule. Camps maintain a 10:1 ratio of players to instructors, and a certified trainer will be on site. Play at all Packers football camps in Wisconsin is non-contact.
The Comprehensive Skills camp teaches the fundamentals of all positions. Your camper will learn skills such as passing, running, non-contact blocking and tackling, with individual attention and multiple chances to play. There’s a strong focus on conditioning, including speed and agility, with each camper encouraged to compete against himself and make steady progress, rather than making comparisons with others. There will also be sessions on nutrition, leadership and other off-the-field curricula.
Tackle Prep at the Packers Football Camps in Wisconsin
Within each of the Packers football camps in Wisconsin, there will be a section for players 11 through 14 who have at least one year of tackle football experience. This Accelerated Skills section will offer more intense drills and more advanced instruction, but play will still be non-contact.
Morning activities will be conducted with campers divided into groups by age and skill level. In the afternoons, there will be skill games and scrimmages leading up to Friday’s Super Bowl. Both divisions will be led by education professionals and high school and college coaches. There will also be supplemental instruction from Packers Heroes, and a chance to interact with them. This will be an active, productive summer camp experience that your young athlete will never forget.
